It was a beautiful, sunny day last Saturday when the Belles enjoyed a lovely lunch at the South Bank restaurant, followed by a promenade along the Clyde river foreshore, where a kind gentleman took the photo below.
Welcome to the Blushing Bay Belles blog. Visit us often to learn about our activities as we don our purple and red regalia and celebrate life to the fullest. Our philosophy is best described in the chorus of our chapter's song:
We are the Blushing Bay Belles from Batemans Bay We love to go on the town to sing, dance or play. We all dress in purple and don't we feel great. Then we don our RED HATS and go meet our mates. Picnics, pool parties and that's not all. Anything we do we are having a ball!
We are the Blushing Bay Belles, an official Chapter of the Red Hat Society (No: 77956) and we are located on the beautiful New South Wales south coast.
The Red Hat Society is a global organisation that connects and supports women approaching the age of 50 (and beyond!) in their pursuit of Fun, Friendship, Freedom and Fulfilment.
10 September, meet at The Olive Tree, Beach Road, Batemans Bay for coffee, lunch and a musical jam session.
Membership
Membership of the Blushing Bay Belles is fully subscribed at present, but as there are still a lot of women who would like to join in the fun and friendship of the Red Hat Society, a second chapter is being planned for the Batemans Bay area. If you are interested in becoming a member, please send your details to: dame_scarlette@email.com
