Celebrating Christmas in Red Hat Style

Its almost Christmas, and that's just the excuse the Belles needed to celebrate by wining, dining and dancing at a local club.

Queen Red Hot Mama shows the Belles how to strut their stuff on the dance floor at the Christmas party.

Elegant Emma lived up to her name with a stately waltz with her unknown admirer at the Belles' Christmas celebration.

Even the restaurant decor matched our colour scheme.

Queen Red Hot Mumma, Lady Muck and Tiara Teacup were having a great time.

A busy time ....

The Belles have had a busy time lately...

It began with two teams of Belles challenging the local intelligentsia at a club Trivia Night. While neither of the teams took out overall honours, we managed respectable scores in each round ...
Members of the "Red Belles" team deep in concentration at the trivia night.

And the "Blushing Belles" ready for trivia action!

The trivia night was followed a few days later by a coach trip to Nowra for a delightful lunch at the Shoalhaven Ex-Servicemen's Club and attendance at a Celtic Concert (a fundraiser for the Chrohns and Colitis Association)at the Entertainment Centre. The Belles enjoyed the pipes and drums, the fiddling and the oh-so-cute junior Scottish and Irish dancers.

Waiting for the coach.....

Enjoying lunch...

And ready for the show....

Mini golfing in red hats

Didn't we make a pretty posy of red hats.

A day of mini-golf was one activity we all enjoyed.

Champion golfers, all.

Bellelympics - athletics with a difference.

The Blushing Bay Belles commenced in August 2008. During the next few weeks we will post some photos of the many activities we have enjoyed since then.

Last November we were joined by our Red Hat sisters from Ulladulla for the Bellelympics at the Botanic Gardens, Mogo

Elegant Emma and Maggie May were on hand to welcome our visitors.

Bellelympics

Ready for the three-legged race - before we all fell over.
The sack race was a challenge - those sacks were rather short.

We've got it all together

The Blushing Bay Belles gathered today for lunch, laughter and birthday celebrations.

Lady Muck's Birthday

Today the Belles gathered to celebrate with Lady Muck who has just achieved a significant milestone. Happy 60th, Lady Muck, seen here with Queen Red Hot Mumma. LM has just returned from a trip to Disneyland, hence the fetching red Minnie Mouse hat.

HRH Rafaella's bling

Lady Muck wasn't the only Belle to celebrate a birthday this month. Our Vice Queen, HRH Rafaella shows off her birthday bling at today's lunch.

Our beautiful location

How lucky are we to live in such a beautiful location. This was the view of the Clyde River enjoyed by the Belles at today's lunch.
